Orichalkos is a gold-white metal, which is very hard but not particularly strong. Particularly high-quality orichalkos can be slightly pink in colour.
It is around as hard as sapphire but impurities make it quite brittle. Unrefined orichalkos can be easily shattered. However, in its pure form, it is a metal of slightly greater density than steel but significantly greater hardness.
- This Orichalkos is based on that described by Plato as having been mined by the Atlanteans.
