The Empire of Valorum is the chief government on the continent of Valorum.
History[]
The Empire of Valorum was founded by a man named Rhaedestus who was responsible for ending the Warlord Period in Valorum. Rhaedestus became the first emperor.
The empire has endured numerous civil wars and both good and bad leaders in the 285 years since its founding. Now a weak child emperor sits the throne, Alexis Vyganus. Only time will tell how much longer the empire might persevere. A further history can be found in the history of Valorum.
Military[]
Civil war and the empire are intrinsically connected. Each province has a large possible army with which to wage war, should the need arise.
The military of the empire can be classified as Late Medieval. Heavy knights and lightly armored peasants alike make up the armies of the empire. Heavy cavalry, though sparse, is the king of the battlefield in the majority of Valorum's grassy plains.
