The Ddaear Dragonmen are a long lived subrace of the Dragonmen found most commonly in forests, shrublands, and other wildernesses. In comparison with their other dragonmen kin, they have a closer affinity for the natural world over civilization. In some cases, they even adopt a nomadic lifestyle.

Appearance[]

Ddaear Dragonmen have the same basic biology and looks of a normal dragonman, however; there are some small differences. A Ddaear's scale coloring is from a light gold to green to a dark brown. Out of all the dragonmen the Ddaear are the largest, and the bulkiest. They also have the hardest scales, and shed-off scales are often made into other things, like shields.

Culture[]

Although a proud people, Ddaear dragonmen feel that compassion is a greater virtue than strength and their communitiess are less concerned with expansion than they are with maintaining amiable relations with their neighbors.

Compared with other dragonmen, Ddaear reagonmen have a notable disinterest in Magic. To a Ddaear, the wizard's spells are little different from the mason's castle walls or the tiller's plow - a means of controlling the natural world, which is contrary to the common ethic of living in harmony with nature rather than trying to dominate it that so many Ddaear espouse. As such, Ddaear adventurers are more likely to take on careers that do not require the use of magic. In particular, many are drawn to the path that relies on their natural-born skill to overcome obstacles.
